Diablo II and the content patch

Cerca de dois meses atrás, Bashiok postou num fórum da Blizzard que está sendo desenvolvido um content patch para Diablo II. Yep, Diablo II 1.13.

Agora (Sexta-feira, 17, para ser mais exato) Bashiok anuncia que a ladder vai ser reiniciada, para coincidir com o lançamento do novo patch e o melhor, ele pode* sair ainda antes do final do mês.

We’re preparing for a Diablo II ladder reset to coincide with the release of the 1.13 patch that’s currently in development. We don’t have a final release date for the patch yet, but we’re providing early warning as a reset could occur as early as the end of April. We’ll be providing updates with more certain dates once the patch is closer to release.

Please be aware that with a ladder reset all ladder characters are moved to non-ladder. This means that your characters will still be accessible but will no longer have access to ladder-only features and games. In order to play in the new ladder season after the reset you will need to make new ladder characters.

Apesar de alguma esperança, estou tentando não criar muita expectativa, afinal, pode ser que venha apenas mais um bug fix, alguma rune word nova, maravilhosa e impossível de se obter e quiçá algo no estilo do atual World Event, do qual eu só consegui participar uma vez, com um char low level e ainda morri dezenas de vezes num Ubber Diablo from Hell. Sinceramente, eu gostaria de single player content, algo relacionado à história do jogo, Sanctuary ou algo que fizesse ligação com a história de Diablo 3.
