Right, you want to know why, in hundreds of other languages I've choose the French in the example of the last post. There's a reason. Actually, more than just one.

Quebec has a immigration program and they receive about 45 thousand immigrants / year from a hundred of countries and I already was approved in the preliminary evaluation. I don't mind to live in the Northeast of a country. Well, if this Northeast is in a country where the highest temperatures hardly will get over 30ºC. Things will be bought in dollars. Canadian dollars, but the current currency is 1,77 BRL to 1 CAD and this exchange will let me live about 3 or four months with only a few more than R$5.000,00. And some other reasons that I can't remember now, but I'm sure they exist.

Other provinces of Canada like Ontario and Alberta also have immigration programs but Quebec, until now is the most attractive (if you don't count the French). As you may have noticed, the map (if you have clicked on the link) is in French, so as the forms and all the information given by the Consulate is given in French, French would be the next language to learn. French. French. I've already used French nine times in this post and I still can't like it. Seems this will not be easy. My second choice is Alberta which seems to be as cool as Quebec but I haven't found much info about the immigration program yet and English is the secondary language in the whole country what makes me face the need of learning French.

I really hated French since my first breath. Maybe the doctor on my birth said something in French before slapping my tiny lil' butt. Maybe I just don't like the accent or maybe it's God will (do you know I'm atheist?). On next April 19^th I'll attend an audience here in Curitiba where the Quebec Consulate will explain (and promote) their immigration program. This will be really important to help me choose if I really gonna do this and start planning my life for the next 3 years.
